Upcoming Changes to Burnside Home Boarding Ltd Pricing Structure & Minimum Stay (Peak time)

I hope this message finds you well. I’d like to begin by expressing my sincere thanks for your continued trust in Burnside Home Boarding Ltd. It’s always a pleasure to care for your dog(s), and I truly value the relationship we’ve built over the last year.

To continue providing the high standard of care you’ve come to expect, I will be updating my pricing structure effective 1st January 2026:

1 Dog: £40 per day (previously £35) 2 Dogs (same household): £50 per day (previously £45)

This decision has not been made lightly. Increasing costs—particularly for electricity, deep cleaning of bedding and fabrics, professional carpet and rug treatments to prevent parasites, and ongoing maintenance of both home and garden to ensure licensing compliance have made this change necessary. These adjustments will help me continue providing a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for every dog in my care, while also supporting ongoing enrichment activities, including the regular replacement and supply of high-quality toys and interactive items designed to keep your dog(s) mentally stimulated and happy throughout their stay.

We’re excited to offer a new optional add-on for our boarding dogs: access to a highly enriched and secure dog field, located approximately 14 miles/18 minutes from us. This service is available for an additional £15 and we are happy to schedule this for during their stay with us.

While all dogs in our care are given regular walks and exercise tailored to their needs, this option may be ideal for dogs that are usually kept on-lead and would benefit from the freedom to run safely in a secure space beyond our own gardens.

Please advise us before your booked stays if you require this.

Amendment to Terms & Conditions – Minimum Stay Requirement

Effective from 1st January 2026

Burnside Home Boarding Ltd will implement a minimum stay requirement during peak summer months.

Peak Periods:

June July August

Minimum Stay Policy:

During the above months, we will only accept bookings of 7 consecutive days or more. Bookings for fewer than 7 days during this period will no longer be accepted.

This change ensures we can maintain fair access to availability during our busiest summer holiday months.

Existing bookings for 2026 less than 7 days will be honoured.
